Acceptable Use Policy

Nevla is a transcription, note-taking and preparation assistant for your own meetings and practice. This page sets out what that does and does not include. Using Nevla means agreeing to it.

What Nevla is for

What Nevla must not be used for

You may not use Nevla to:

Consent and recording

You are responsible for having the right to transcribe a conversation. Laws on recording differ — some require every participant to agree, some only one. Before you use Nevla on a call with other people, make sure you are allowed to, and tell them if the law or the setting requires it. Nevla keeps a transcript on your account; you can delete it, and your whole account, at any time.

Why we draw this line

Proctored exams and assessments exist so that results mean something. A tool that helped someone defeat them would be helping one person at the expense of everyone being judged by the same test — and at the expense of the employer or institution who set it. That is not a product we build, sell or support, whatever the demand. Nevla is deliberately a tool for your own meetings and your own preparation, used openly.

Enforcement

Accounts used to break this policy may be suspended or closed without a refund of unused minutes. We would rather you never hit that — the honest uses above are the whole point of the product.

Questions about whether your use is allowed? Ask support before you rely on it.
